Who Am I?

Byron Stokes III is a Baltimore native, author, minister, nonprofit founder, entrepreneur, and community leader dedicated to inspiring others through faith, service, leadership, and personal growth.

From an early age, Byron demonstrated a passion for helping others and a desire to lead with purpose. His foundation in faith was shaped by his great-grandmother, Mary Jamison, who faithfully introduced him to church life and instilled in him the importance of service, compassion, and devotion to God. Those early experiences would become the cornerstone of a lifelong commitment to ministry and community impact.

In December 2024, Byron received his ministerial license and ordination through the Independent Christian Churches International. He later continued his ministerial journey through Revival Church Baltimore, where he serves in leadership and remains committed to preaching the Gospel, discipling believers, and encouraging people to walk boldly in their God-given purpose.

Beyond ministry, Byron is the Founder and President of The To The Max Foundation, a nonprofit organization established in honor of his late friend, Maxumus I. Fraser. Inspired by Max's life, leadership, and commitment to excellence, the Foundation seeks to empower young people through mentorship, community engagement, education, and personal development. Through this work, Byron continues to carry forward a mission of hope, purpose, and positive impact.

In 2026, Byron published his first book, Set Apart: The Weight of Becoming. The book reflects on his personal journey through faith, grief, leadership, family challenges, heartbreak, healing, and growth. Through honest storytelling and practical lessons, Byron encourages readers to embrace their journey, trust God's process, and continue becoming the person they were created to be.

Professionally, Byron serves as a Baltimore Police Cadet while pursuing higher education and continuing his commitment to public service. His passion for leadership extends beyond ministry and nonprofit work into entrepreneurship, where he actively develops ventures focused on creating opportunities, building sustainable organizations, and empowering future generations.

Whether speaking at churches, community events, leadership gatherings, or youth programs, Byron's message remains consistent: faith matters, purpose matters, and growth is possible. He believes that every challenge presents an opportunity for transformation and that true success is measured not only by achievement, but by the positive impact we leave on the lives of others.

Today, Byron continues to serve through ministry, writing, public speaking, nonprofit leadership, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. His mission is simple: to help people discover purpose, overcome adversity, strengthen their faith, and become who God has called them to be.
